Love to knit & fundraise for Breast Cancer at the same time?? Well the fabulous Jim & Louise at Art Viva have a clever way to do this. After losing her mother to breast cancer, Louise designed knitting needle ends to look like boobs/ breasts/ bosoms, what ever you want to call them. This particular style of Art Viva knitting needle is named after Louise's late mother Betty Jane & each pair has her story in a beautiful card attached.
All the profits from the sale of these needles go to the Jane McGrath Foundation in Australia. Why am i so passionate about this cause too?? My beautiful children never got to meet their paternal grandmother as she passed away from breast cancer while i was pregnant with my first baby. This horrible disease has taken far too many fabulous women (& men) from the world. Join in the cause too.
